Images may have no usable GPS metadata, and the page’s format-count and free-credit wording is not consistent enough to support exact universal limits.
EXIF is mutable and can be missing, stale or intentionally changed. Stored coordinates are clues, not authenticated capture locations, and this profile does not claim reliable visual geolocation.
The provider says image bytes stay in the browser, but place search and reverse geocoding send text or coordinates to Geoapify; map providers see requests. Signed-in history may save filenames, extracted GPS, addresses, camera data and capture dates in Supabase. Preserve originals and avoid sensitive signed-in work unless that handling is acceptable.
Use only files you are authorized to handle and share; do not publish another person’s precise location merely because it appears in accessible metadata.
